WWADD is a free developer reference. There are no accounts and no advertising. This policy explains what data is involved when you visit the site (hosting logs, fonts, and Google Analytics) when you email us, and if you choose to support the site financially.
What we collect
We do not collect
- Account or profile data (there are no accounts)
- Card or bank details (if you choose to support the site, payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe and we never see those details)
- Form submissions or uploaded files (the site has none; the only way to send us anything is email, described below)
- Advertising identifiers (the site shows no ads)
What is processed
Hosting logs (Vercel)
When you request a page, the host records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, path, timestamp, and similar). These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. Retention follows Vercel’s practices.Fonts loaded from Google Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google’s servers. That request can include your IP address and user agent. Google’s use of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site. It records pages viewed, how you arrived (referrer and search or campaign source), device and browser type, screen size, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), and interactions such as scrolling and outbound clicks. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. If you email us (for example at hello@wwadd.dev or security@wwadd.dev), we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach. We use it only to read and reply to you, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your message with third parties, except the email host below. Mail is hosted by Zoho Mail. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our records; ask us to delete it and we will, unless we must keep it for a security or legal reason.Supporting WWADD (optional)
If the site offers a way to support it and you use it, you are sent to a payment page hosted by Stripe, which collects your payment details, name, and email under Stripe's privacy policy. We never see your card or bank details. Stripe tells us the amount, whether it is monthly or one-time, and your name, email, and country. We use that to confirm and thank you, to manage a monthly payment, and to keep the financial and tax records the law requires.
Cookies
WWADD’s own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Google Analytics sets these cookies:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default. Google Analytics then sends only cookieless signals (such as a page view without an identifier), which Google uses for aggregate modeling. The site has no consent banner, so there is no way to switch cookies on there and they stay off.
Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on by default and there is no banner. Use the opt-out options below if you'd rather not be measured.
Opting out
- Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker.
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising
The site shows no ads today, and nothing on it currently sets advertising cookies or uses advertising identifiers.
WWADD is built to be supported by advertising, and we plan to use Google AdSense. Before any ad appears, we will update this policy and its “Last updated” date. When ads go live, expect the following:
- Google and its advertising partners will set cookies and may use other identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and, where you allow it, personalize ads. Google's use of that data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and its advertising policies.
- In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent banner (a certified consent management platform) will ask for your choice before advertising or analytics cookies are set. Without consent, ads there are limited to non-personalized ads or none, and analytics stays cookieless. You will be able to change your choice at any time.
- Elsewhere, ads may be personalized by default. You can turn personalization off at Google Ad Settings, or opt out through aboutads.info/choices (US), youradchoices.ca (Canada), or youronlinechoices.com (EU).
- Advertising changes some statements in this policy. The “What we do not collect” list, the cookie table, the third-party table, and the sentence “we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising” will be revised to cover Google's ad cookies and any consent-management cookie.
- We will publish an
ads.txtfile listing the ad sellers authorized to sell space on the site.
Ads will be labelled as ads, and they are never editorial recommendations. Nothing in a playbook, comparison, or tool entry is sponsored or paid for.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests: running and securing the site, understanding which pages are useful (cookieless measurement only, in those regions), answering the email you send us, and, where it applies, processing a payment you choose to make and keeping the records the law requires. We do not rely on consent for analytics, because we do not set analytics cookies for visitors in those regions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at hello@wwadd.dev and we will respond within the time your law requires. We can look up correspondence by your email address. Payment and tax records may have to be kept for a legal minimum period even after you ask us to delete them. We cannot identify a visitor from analytics or hosting-log data, so for those, clearing your cookies or using the opt-outs above is the practical route; the underlying records are held by Google and Vercel under their own policies.
International transfers
Vercel, Google, Zoho, and Stripe may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See each provider's policy for details.
Children
The site is a technical reference aimed at adults and developers. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction).
Changes
We update this policy when the site’s behavior changes (for example turning on advertising, adding a contact form, or accounts). The “Last updated” date at the top changes, and material changes are reflected here before they take effect on the live site.
