WWADD is operated by BNSN Solutions (“we”, “us”). By using WWADD you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What WWADD is

WWADD (“What Would A Dev Do?”) is a free editorial reference of web-development tools, practical patterns (“moves”), stack playbooks, and comparisons. Content is written as judgment calls and recommendations, not as professional engineering advice tailored to your project.

License of the material

Original editorial content (playbooks, moves, tool write-ups, comparisons, and similar prose) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt it, including commercially, with attribution to WWADD and a link to the source page.
Code snippets in moves are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0. Paste them into your projects without attribution.
Site source code is licensed under the MIT License.
The WWADD name, logo, and icons are not covered by the licenses above. Attribution to WWADD is welcome, but do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks, and linked materials remain the property of their owners.

To attribute, something like this is enough: “Source: WWADD (wwadd.dev), CC BY 4.0, with a link to the page you used.” If you changed the text, say so.

Supporting WWADD

If the site offers a way to support it financially, doing so is voluntary. Payments are processed by Stripe on its own hosted page, under its terms. A payment is a gift toward running the site, not a purchase of goods or services. It gives you no additional access, features, or influence over editorial content. It is not tax-deductible, because BNSN Solutions is not a charity. You can cancel a monthly payment at any time, effective from the next billing date, using the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing hello@wwadd.dev. If you paid by mistake, email us and we will review a refund.

Third-party tools, companies, and links

WWADD describes and links to third-party tools, projects, and companies. We are not affiliated with them and they have not endorsed the site. Names are used only to identify the products. Licenses, pricing, features, and availability change; each entry shows when we last verified it, and you should check the linked source before you rely on it. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we link to.

No warranty — editorial “as is”

The site, including all recommendations, stack choices, skip-if guidance, and examples, is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

In particular:

Stack and tool recommendations are opinions based on publicly available information and editorial judgment. They may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong for your constraints.
Following a playbook does not guarantee security, performance, compliance, or business success.
Examples of real products describe patterns at a high level; they are not claims about private internals of those products.

You are solely responsible for evaluating fitness for your purpose, testing, and any decisions you make based on the content.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BNSN Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal and commercial learning and reference. You may not:

Scrape or bulk-download the site in a way that impairs service for others. For bulk reading — including by AI tools — use /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt, which exist for that purpose.
Misrepresent WWADD content as your own without the attribution required by CC BY 4.0
Attempt to disrupt or compromise the site or its hosting

Analytics and advertising

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how it's used. It shows no advertising today, but it is built to carry it and we plan to use Google AdSense. What is collected, which cookies are set, what changes when ads go live, and how to opt out are described in the Privacy Policy.

When ads appear, they are labelled as ads, they are supplied by third parties, and we do not endorse the advertisers or their products. Editorial content — tool entries, playbooks, comparisons, and recommendations — is never sponsored or paid for, and ads do not influence it. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. You may use an ad blocker, but please do not click ads for any reason other than genuine interest, and do not generate or encourage artificial impressions or clicks.

Corrections and takedowns

If something on the site is wrong, out of date, or infringes your rights, email hello@wwadd.dev with the page and what to fix. We will review it and correct or remove content where warranted.

Availability

WWADD is free and provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may block access that harms the site or other users.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
